Sunflower room

Here they are... some pictures of our sunflower bedroom. Mom's pride and joy. I think she did a great job coordinating everything and "tying it together" (whatever that means).

Pitcher shelf

Now that Mom got the urge to decorate, she found a shelf she has stored for quite some time. So after a coat of paint and mounting it on the wall she has a place to display some of her pitchers (or is that pictures?). Click on the picture for a detailed view.

Entertainment Center

At long last... the entertainment center is finished. Mom is especially excited. She was beginning to think it would never get done. We only started it in 2005 and now it is 2007.

We'll let the pictures speak for themselves. The first ones in 2005 you saw before. The component cabinet came out really well with full extension drawer slides and, best of all, a rotating base for easy access to the cables in the back.

After completing the bottom section we decided we needed to break up the boxy-ness of it all with some kind of fireplace mantle type shelf. The picture from June 2007 shows the framework under the shelf with a cable trough in the back.

The last group of pictures shows the finished product. Mom did a great job of the finish work and the room decor.

Now maybe I can use my spare time to create these blog entries.
