We'll let the pictures speak for themselves. The first ones in 2005 you saw before. The component cabinet came out really well with full extension drawer slides and, best of all, a rotating base for easy access to the cables in the back.
After completing the bottom section we decided we needed to break up the boxy-ness of it all with some kind of fireplace mantle type shelf. The picture from June 2007 shows the framework under the shelf with a cable trough in the back.
The last group of pictures shows the finished product. Mom did a great job of the finish work and the room decor.
