Twas the Week Before Christmas --

The other day Shoonie said she has been looking for pictures from our adventures in Arizona during our Christmas trip. Well, before we get to that let us show you some surprises that popped up while venturing out to look at lights in San Jose the week before Christmas. In fact, just watch the video (with sound) and you'll see and hear.

Very fun. The boys will enjoy seeing the huge Santa and sleigh.

Boy, who'd have thought there would be so many fun Christmas-y things in SJ. I felt like I was in a Dr. Seuss book with so many b-words (Brass Band, Bike Party and Bagpipes.) I wonder if the guy can ride and play the bagpipes at the same time. What talent!

Mark will like the brass band. A friend of his plays the trombone and has got Mark started playing. He is going to play trombone in the symphonic band this semester.

This is so funny Dad! We used to go see the lights in Willow Glen but didn't ever have that much excitment. Thanks for sharing

Wow, LOTS of stuff going on when you were just trying to look at lights. It makes our light watching seem not as cool as we thought. Thanks for sharing. That band was cool!!

I love the Brass Band and the Bike riding Bagpipe Player... all we needed was Brother Bob's baseball bus. Great movie! Way to notice all that was going on around you. And I noticed the music holder for the marching piccolo player (ok, standing trumpet player) - I hope they weren't going blind. I can't wait to see what else you were up to at Christmastime.
